Canada's longest running free-admission folk festival is back for its 35th year. We look forward to welcoming you and 15,000 people from our community and the surrounding region to join us! Mark your calendar for four days of music, culture, community and let’s face it, pure joy as we come together August 15-18, 2024 at Market Hall Performing Arts Centre and Nicholls Oval Park on the hillside next to the mighty Otonabee River.

As a volunteer-run non-profit registered charity organization, your community leadership and support is vital to the success of promoting and preserving this family-friendly festival that’s accessible to everyone in our community. In exchange, we’ll acknowledge your contribution in a variety of ways leading up to the event, during the festival and afterwards. Sponsorship packages are customizable to your budget and goals.

More than 15,000 people came together to enjoy our region’s second largest cultural event in 2023. Mark your calendars for August 15-18, 2024. PFF has four days of music, community building and pure joy as we come together on the hillside at Nicholls Oval Park next to the mighty Otonabee River. As a volunteer-run registered charity, your community leadership and support is vital to the success of promoting and preserving this cultural gem that’s inclusive, welcoming and accessible to everyone.

2023’s Peterborough Folk Festival welcomed 30 artists, including 12 local performers. The lineup featured full gender parity and strong diversity, including Indigenous artists, artists of colour and artists from the LGBTQ community.

In 2023 Peterborough Folk Festival was nominated for a Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award for our green initiatives and sustainability practices as stewards of Nogojiwanong.
